Description
I made a version of the 'Suffragetto' game for my sister's birthday.
The figures are HO scale models originally intended for model railways, set on suitably sized bases, painted and varnished.
Top - Suffragettes: I based the colours schemes on contemporary fashion plates, so they're probably a bit brighter and more vivid than the clothing that would typically be worn to a Suffragette demonstration, but I wanted to give a strong visual difference between the Suffragettes and the police.
Bottom - Police (uniformed and plain clothes): I couldn't find any good police figures of the appropriate scale, so I adapted the uniformed police from railway porters by altering their hats to helmets and adjusting the lengths of their coats, using epoxy putty.
